FocusTrack was created by lighting programmer Rob Halliday. In programming many large scale musicals that then went on for long runs, or toured, or were 'cloned' in new productions around the world, he'd been looking for a tool to keep precise records of what each light did through the show. FocusTrack is the culmination of a number of versions of a moving light tracking database that he's used over the years, and now continues to evolve in response to suggestions from its many users.
